Sarah Matheny used to eat meat and practice law, and then she became a mom.
A graduate of Linfield College and Willamette University College of Law, Sarah left her life as a family law attorney to raise a family seven years ago, with every intention of returning to a corner office someday.
As a new mom, she made changes to her long-term plan and her family’s diet. She started
peasandthankyou.com to connect with an audience that didn’t need to be burped or changed, and to share the joys, successes and laughs that come from raising a mainstream family on non-mainstream meals. Through anecdotes and recipes, Sarah built a following of readers around the country, eager for their daily recipe and/or glimpse into life with the Peas.
And she never looked back.
Sarah lives in Salem, Oregon, with her husband, two daughters and a temperamental cat.
