Amy Newsome is a horticulturist, freelance beekeeper and cook based in London, UK. After a career in fashion photography, she retrained as a gardener and beekeeper, working with Raymond Blanc, organic grower Anna Greenland and Royal Botanic Gardens Kew. She is now Head Gardener of The Garden Cobham where she is creating a new garden and restaurant site. She also works with prison reform charity Food Behind Bars. She has written for multiple publications, including Bloom magazine, on subjects such as single-origin honey.
